Public profile and username

You can publish a public CyberKy profile that others can open at:

https://cyberky.com/u/your-username

Set or change your username

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account

  2. Edit Username

  3. Save your profile

Username rules

  • 3–16 characters

  • Must start with a letter

  • Only letters, numbers, and underscores

  • Example valid: kyle_r, socanalyst01

Usernames are checked for availability as you type.

Change limits

You can change your username only once every 90 days. Choose carefully—old links to /u/oldname will stop working after a change.

What appears on your public profile

Typically visible:

  • Username and display name

  • Avatar

  • Bio

  • Website link (if you add one)

  • Join date

  • Security focus (if set)

  • Cyber Rating / rank badge and leaderboard stats

  • Course completions and activity highlights

  • Certain achievement / plan badges (not your email)

Not shown publicly:

  • Email address

  • Password or security settings

  • Payment or billing details

  • Private feedback submissions

Edit profile fields

In Settings you can also update:

  • Name (2–50 characters)

  • Bio (up to 280 characters)

  • Website URL (http/https)

  • Security focus (dropdown)

From your own public profile page, use Edit Profile to jump back to Settings.

Privacy tip

If you are not ready to be findable, keep your bio minimal and avoid linking personal websites. A username is still required for the account system.
